It’s fucking weird, but he’s glad to spend any time with his father, even though the whole situation sounds like the beginning of a shitty joke. A high school dropout and his deadbeat felon dad walk into a sketchy German bar… He’ll figure out the punchline by the time they leave. (Or: Erik and Peter rescue Kurt from the mutant fighting ring. X-Men: Apocalypse doesn't happen. Instead: slow burn romance, learning to be a father, and found family.)
