Rec: Rumour Has It by thecrackshiplollipop

Title: Rumour Has It
Author: thecrackshiplollipop
Canon: Jessica Jones/MCU
Pairing: Jessica Jones/Patricia ‘Trish’ Walker
Rating: Explicit [NC-17]
Word Count: 18,191
Summary: Jessica accompanies Trish to one of her many glamorous functions. But then Trish is cornered and Jessica acts sort of rashly and. Well. By the next morning, the whole world assumes Trish Walker is a lesbian. Way to go, Jones.

Recommendation: There really can not be enough “fake dating for reasons” stories, that trope does not get old. I love how these two really don’t change how they are with each other and yet everything changes. I love how much of their early motivation was to spite Trish’s mom, because, ugh, that woman.

Rec: Delivered from the Blast by CantStopImagining

Title: Delivered from the Blast
Author: CantStopImagining
Canon: Jessica Jones/MCU
Pairing: Jessica Jones/Patricia ‘Trish’ Walker
Rating: Teen [PG]
Word Count: 4,633
Summary: “It’s a bit anticlimactic; walking down streets feeling paranoid and then a small voice in the back of her head (or occasionally, a calm voice to the side of her, a blonde head, a touch of hands that’s gone in the blink of an eye) telling her it’s okay now, like it’s that easy, like things can go back to normal just like that.” – Jessica deals with the aftermath of Kilgrave.

Recommendation: Can I express my exaltation that there is a girl BFF pairing that I can get behind, 'cause seriously, so great. I love that this story is about After, but that it totally acknowledges that After can take time. Oh and I love the cats, so cute.
