Recommendation: So right before my Great Hiatus/Summer Break, season eight of Game of Thrones was breaking my heart (and what was left was ground down by Endgame, but anyways) and I found myself accidentally falling down the Jonsa rabbit hole and not really coming up for air for quite a few weeks. I wasn’t keeping track of anything I was reading at that point which at the time did not phase me, but in the intervening months, I’ve regretted that. I’ve gotten so used to being able to look back at my own recs when I feel in the mood to re-read something that I feel quite at a loss without that backup. As to this story, in particular, I have found that I adore thimbleful’s characterizations of not only Jon and Sansa, but also of Arya, Daenerys, and others. The tension between Jon and Sansa in taut and the release, a very great pleasure.
