(A thousand-year-old friendship brings a demigod out to save a harpooneer, and one less canonical death results.) Or, Queequeg is a descendant of Moana a thousand years down the line, and Maui keeps his promises.
Recommendation: Uh, I'm so glad the ridiculousness that is the name Queequeg is addressed (it's just white folk being silly), and that the ending to the book gets fixed to how it should be. ;)
