She observes it carefully, and her world seems to slot into place for the first time in years—even if it’s just for a brief second. She finally sees that she’s doing something…right. “Bouclier de la non protégé,” she murmurs, and smiles as she traces it. “Shield of the Defenseless,” Lydia confirms, and smiles.
Recommendation: I just love the thought of the Argents being traditionally lead by women and Allison getting a chance to find out about that. I also really love the comic of the intro scene in the second chapter, so awesome.
