Recommendation: I came to this party a little too late to really get into it, the show ran while I was quite young and by the time I was able to get it from my local library it was well past it's fandom heyday. I found I liked the more self-contained episodes rather than the ones that delved into the show's "mythos" but boy did I like Krycek. Eh, not to be helped. But while I like Krycek and ship him with Mulder, I find it difficult to find fic that does it for me. I liked this one as it doesn't make excuses for either Mulder or Krycek but they do end up working together. I also appreciate that they didn't just make the local law enforcement dumb and/or corrupt, it's something of a change.
