Title: In Marble Halls
Author: Sar-kaz-m
Canon: Tin Man
Pairing: D.G./Wyatt Cain
Rating: Teen [PG]
Word Count: 22,140
Summary: Not long after the eclipse, Cain has realized that he’s fallen for DG. Being a man of action, he decides to do something about it.
Recommendation: So I hope there are other people out there to liked Syfy’s Tin Man as much as I did. It’s one of my staple “too sick to do anything but watch the screen” movies. It’s nice and long (so I don’t have to always be picking out a new movie every other thing) and pretty, and just a lot of fun. I love the tension and byplay between Cain and D.G., tension but restraint too. It’s more of an age gap than I’m usually comfortable with but there’s definitely a sense of arrested development for Cain. I really liked this story particularly because of the gentle and not-so-gentle poking fun at the goofy stuff from the books, as well as fleshing out the culture and norms. I also really like seeing D.G. get her princess on.
