Title: Make This Feel Like Home
Author: Masterofpretending
Canon: Misfits
Pairing: Simon Bellamy/Nathan Young
Rating: Not Rated
Word Count: 17,746
Summary: "No, Simon never hated Nathan, but never in a million years did he think he would be standing in front of him, offering the other boy a place to stay. He had to be going insane." Simon takes pity on Nathan and offers him to crash at his place. Typical "Misfits" craziness ensues.

Recommendation: Well this was lovely! I love them getting a chance at getting to know each other but also having a less antagonistic relationship. I also loved the inclusion of Simon's sister and the superpower shenanigans. Good stuff.

Title: Such Stuff as Dreams Are Made On
Author: temporal-infidelity
Canon: Misfits
Pairing: Simon Bellamy/Nathan Young
Rating: Teen [PG]
Word Count: 5,830
Summary: “Simon would open up his locker every once in awhile and there’d be a mysterious object he’d never seen before sitting there on top of his comic books. A small metal penguin; an unusual puzzle, almost like a Rubiks cube, that Simon couldn’t figure out; a glass prism that cast improbable shapes and colors against the floor when he held it up to the light.” Nathan has a different power.

Recommendation: Oohh, plotty goodness. I love stories that explore "what would happen if they had different powers" which in this fandom/show is pretty par for the course but this one turns the whole plot on its head. Very atmospheric too.

Title: Just a Touch of Your Love
Author: theweakestthing
Canon: Misfits
Pairing: Simon Bellamy/Nathan Young
Rating: Teen [PG]
Word Count: 8,280
Summary: “What the fuck are you doing?” Simon hissed. “Throwing rocks at your window to get your attention, it’s romantic,” Nathan returned, mock stern. “You broke my window,” Simon stated. “Romantically,” Nathan countered.

Recommendation: I don't always go in for "soulmates" but this was so cute and the "soulmates" stuff was pretty lowkey. And I liked the background Alisha and Kelly.

Title: As It Should Be
Author: A_M_Kelley
Canon: Misfits
Pairing: Simon Bellamy/Nathan Young
Rating: Explicit [NC-17]
Word Count: 5,912
Summary: "Why do you even care?" "I don't care!" AKA; The one where Nathan's jealous that his brother is hitting on Simon and he totally, in fact, does care.

Recommendation: Well, it's nice to see Simon getting positive attention but that's just the kick in the pants that Nathan needs. Hot stuff.

Title: Love Will Fuck Us Up
Author: yrmmbggy
Canon: Misfits
Pairing: Simon Bellamy/Nathan Young
Rating: Teen [PG]
Word Count: 9,662
Summary: Nathan took great joy in seeing Alisha get (unintentionally, but all the same) dismissed by Simon, and although he did say he would try to ‘do better’ or whatever, he couldn’t help the sick feelings of glee that arose when he realised that Alisha was getting nowhere with Simon. Seducing Simon Bellamy was a game and he was winning.

Recommendation: So, I blame my work friend for this entirely. She was all "Oh you haven't heard of The Misfits, it's great, just imagine Ramsey Bolton as a hero and Klaus Hargreeves as straight." *blink blink* Holy crap. Though, honestly Robert Sheehan is really not great at portraying completely straight. Which is how we've ended up with this bit of loveliness.
