Title: Happy Together
Author: SniperAnon
Canon: Outlast: Whistleblower
Pairing: Eddie Gluskin/Waylon Park
Rating: Explicit [NC-17]
Word Count: 7,885
Summary: The Walrider does not conveniently arrive to save Waylon from the Engine. When Waylon emerges, he’s not the same person he was before. He felt so much before. So much guilt. Regret. But above all, fear. Choking, all consuming, all devouring fear. He was his fear, nothing inside him but an animal cowering and howling in terror. But there was only so much fear a human being could take while subjected to such torture. Only so much screaming stimulation nerves could take before snapping. Only so far guts could liquefy before there was nothing left. Now, three grand mal seizures later, Waylon doesn’t feel… anything. It’s. Liberating.

Recommendation: We could call this a happy ending if by happy ending we mean that the crazy has won the day and that Linda and the kids got away okay. So yeah. Happy.

Title: As Good as Equals
Authors: Hammocker & SocialDeception
Canon: Outlast: Whistleblower
Pairing: Eddie Gluskin/Waylon Park
Rating: Explicit [NC-17]
Word Count: 16,256
Summary: It would have been easy to leave him for dead, but standing over a bound Eddie Gluskin, the only things on Waylon's mind were revenge and arousal.

Recommendation: NGL, this is messed up in the best ways because I love a nutty Waylon getting his own back and getting his way. And we all knew Eddie was hearing what he wanted to anyway.

Title: At First Bite
Author: redseeker
Canon: Outlast: Whistleblower
Pairing: Eddie Gluskin/Waylon Park
Rating: Mature [R]
Word Count: 79,826
Summary: Each generation a sacrifice is chosen to appease the monster in the castle on the hill and become the vampire's bride. This year the honour belongs to Waylon Park.

Recommendation: This was interesting. I liked the worldbuilding, lightly done though it was you could still kind of see the shape of it by the end. I liked that Eddie was moved from the villain to a more sympathetic light without really making excuses for some of his behavior. I loved the rather liminal space Waylon occupied as neither wholly a man or a woman societally.

Title: The Definition of Insanity
Author: devovitsuasartes
Canon: Outlast: Whistleblower
Pairing: Eddie Gluskin/Waylon Park
Rating: Explicit [NC-17]
Word Count: 13,812
Summary: Following the incident at Mount Massive Asylum, an agent interviews Waylon Park about his encounter with notorious serial killer Eddie Gluskin inside the facility, and how he managed to survive. Or, How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Also Stop A Serial Killer From Cutting Off My Dick And Balls.

Recommendation: Oh man, this was really great. That agent or whatever with his puerile questions, like he's just digging for the sensational goss not asking valid need this for the case questions, I was glad how he worked out, ngl. Waylon being all manipulative and pragmatic is my jam.

Title: Waltz
Author: whiskeyandspite
Canon: Outlast: Whistleblower
Pairing: Eddie Gluskin/Waylon Park
Rating: Explicit [NC-17]
Word Count: 5,001
Summary: “Oh, I’m enjoying the anticipation, sweetheart,” Eddie murmured, his voice low and deep for a moment, nothing like the one singing just moments before. Waylon groaned against his skin. “But you can’t hide forever.” ~ Waylon asked for two days, just two days to prove he was the perfect bride just the way he was. Then he had a dumb idea and snuck out to fulfill it.

Recommendation: Holiday Hiatus ~ Or really partial hiatus in that I'll post a rec but I won't do the write up because I'm really behind and the holidays are about to really kick off.

Title: Cut Like a Razor Blade
Author: pennysparkle
Canon: Outlast: Whistleblower
Pairing: Eddie Gluskin/Waylon Park
Rating: Explicit [NC-17]
Word Count: 3,995
Summary: “You don’t have to be embarrassed, darling,” says Eddie, his hand absently petting at the curve of Waylon’s knee where it meets his thigh before dropping away again. “I understand that this place takes things away from you... I’m sure you would have kept up appearances if you’d been able, but don’t worry. I’m going to make you feel like a woman again. Just be patient.”

Recommendation: Shaving isn't even usually my thing, but HOT damn!

Title: The Bride
Author: Flickering
Canon: Outlast: Whistleblower
Pairing: Eddie Gluskin/Waylon Park
Rating: Explicit [NC-17]
Word Count: 28,261
Summary: When Waylon’s plans with his friends backfire and the only solution for their final weekend of college fun is a trip to a cabin in the woods with Jeremy-fucking-Blaire, Waylon had half a mind to bail. But these were his friends, and this was supposed to be their time together, Jeremy or not. So what if the place was straight out of a horror game. So what if the basement was filled with creepy antiques that made him feel uneasy and uncomfortably excited. He was committed. He was going to make the most of it. He just hadn’t anticipated the murder. The death. The man covered in blood with a knife and dressed as a horrible groom. And he definitely hadn’t anticipated the insidious pull the man had on him, like Waylon was hearing dark wedding bells and they rang all for him. ~ Heavily inspired by reapersun’s Cabin in the Woods AU comic.

Recommendation: The fact that I read in this fandom is unquestioningly the fault of the consummate work of reapersun. They're fanart is *chef's kiss* so good and I have followed into dark and interesting fandoms as a result. So I love, love, LOVE, that Flickering based this story around reapersun's Cabin in the Woods AU comic. I just dead, it's so perfect. It follows it almost word for word, scene for scene while also fleshing it out into a full narrative. Just perfection!
