Recommendation: This was interesting. I liked the worldbuilding, lightly done though it was you could still kind of see the shape of it by the end. I liked that Eddie was moved from the villain to a more sympathetic light without really making excuses for some of his behavior. I loved the rather liminal space Waylon occupied as neither wholly a man or a woman societally.

He just hadn’t anticipated the murder. The death. The man covered in blood with a knife and dressed as a horrible groom. And he definitely hadn’t anticipated the insidious pull the man had on him, like Waylon was hearing dark wedding bells and they rang all for him. ~ Heavily inspired by reapersun’s Cabin in the Woods AU comic.

Recommendation: The fact that I read in this fandom is unquestioningly the fault of the consummate work of reapersun. They're fanart is *chef's kiss* so good and I have followed into dark and interesting fandoms as a result. So I love, love, LOVE, that Flickering based this story around reapersun's Cabin in the Woods AU comic. I just dead, it's so perfect. It follows it almost word for word, scene for scene while also fleshing it out into a full narrative. Just perfection!
