They'd have to circle around the compound to reach the coordinates for the extraction point, granted, which was probably going to add on at least an hour. Which meant Waller wasn't going to be too happy at first, and Flag wouldn't be either—such a fuckin' worrywart, he hated it when any of his teams went unaccounted for for more than about ten minutes. But as these things went, that was in solid B+ territory. Point was, there was no way, after all that, that GQ was getting taken out by being sneezed on by a goddamn flower.

Recommendation: Man, oh man, this has all the things: sex pollen but with like serious interest on both sides, dirty talk, competency porn, even saving the day, all the things.

Recommendation: This was more than a little gut wrenching and it does not gloss over June's trauma and what that would have done to her and in turn what that would do to Rick. As horrible as it is, it does not leave you there but moves you on to hope and an after.

I also love the idea of Chato surviving, especially because I didn't really think it made sense that he died. This was cute, but the sequel Down on My Knees was hot.

While I love the budding relationship between Rick and Floyd, I was utterly charmed with the interactions between Zoe and Rick they seem like two peas in a pod. I was also pretty sold on the reason for Rick leaving the military and it's resolution.

And while this story hints at Flagshot it is more about the squad and the growing loyalty born of respect and affection amongst the members and towards Flag. The two sequels, Time-lapse and Wreak Havoc, further the Flagshot storyline but as yet do not resolve the underlying plot. I really hope the author does continue.

Recommendation: I saw the movie and while I liked the characters and thought their chemistry was fun, the plot was . . . not great. Jared Leto's Joker pisses me off on a variety of levels, from the romanticizing abusive relationships to just being stupid and unscary. Deadshot was great though and I love the thought of Harley and him being bros, but I liked the potential between him and Flag. I loved the little scene at the end with Floyd visiting with his daughter being overseen by Rick and I love that this author fleshed that out a bit.
