Recommendation: You can start with the prequel Till Human Voices Wake Us, but you can also dive right in and pick up on where we are at. From the tags you might be forgiven for thinking that this would be a lot of smut and it’s there never fear, but it also has a lovely domestication wendigo-style as well as a slow realization of feelings. No homo right up until it’s all the homo. Really great.

Recommendation: Without going wildly AU from the game, I’m thinking that this might count as best possible outcome. It’s more of a hopeful ending as you still don’t know what’s going to happen with the police because “wendigo” doesn’t sound like an explanation that will be widely excepted.

Summary: Chris gets stuck in a time loop, experiencing the events of the game over and over again. he feels like it’s his responsibility to save everyone, but Josh keeps slipping through his fingers. 

Recommendation: I feel like I should have rec’d from this pairing sooner but it’s just didn’t happen, and it feels a little late to the party so here’s hoping you are feeling nostalgic. I’m a long time fan of Groundhog Day AUs, so I feel a little silly that it’s only just occurred to me that it’s rather like playing the game over and over in order to get the best result.
