Recommendation: This is an awesome, awesome thing. Imagine my surprise at finding a Langel story that is Post-Don't Fade Away and not an AU that has a happy ending. But it works and it works well. I love the glimpses of this new place that Linsdey the zombie lives and the OCs that live there too. I love how Angel and Lindsey's broken pieces fit together and how they seem to understand one another. Top marks.

Recommendation: There is something perversely satisfying about Lindsey being able to experience the visions first hand after he dismissed them as feeling like brain freeze from eating ice cream. I'm still miffed at the show for throwing in all the queer baiting right as the show was wrapping up so this is very satisfying.

Recommendation: Instead of looking like an episode on Angel in my head, this story looked like nothing so much as an episode of Supernatural.

Recommendation: This has got to be my favorite Langel story full stop. It's for a variety of reasons but one of the things that stands out for me is Lindsey lawyering for good. He's no Thurgood Marshall or Nelson and Murdock but it's nice to see him using his other skills to benefit the side of the angels. Another thing I love is Lindsey developing relationships with Angel's team: friends with Cordelia, companionable ribbing with Gunn and a tentative truce with Wesley. Finally the simmering heat between Lindsay and Angel is something not to be missed.

Convinced that the evil law firm is still after Lindsey, Angel takes him back to the hotel while they figure out what to do. But Lindsey isn’t recovering, and Cordelia’s still pissed at Angel for firing them, and Wesley’s constantly pissed at Angel for usurping his authority. Maybe all they need is to relearn some trust.
Recommendation: Angel is not this best self in this one, but he eventually gets it together in time to be Lindsey's hero. The demon in this one was super creepy, I thought.

Recommendation: I've been bit by the nostalgia bug once again, and this time it is Langel. These two were always so fraught but I was always ultimately disappointed with the writers choices for Lindsey's character. Having him just regrow his hand sounds like something that could have happened to him though, and I can't say I don't prefer this to what happened to Cordy. She deserved better.
