Recommendation: Gah! This was too sweet. Characterization was spot on, it is all so loaded with feelings. Oh, and a terrific fight scene because what is a Tokyo Ghoul story without a little violence, but it's really more about these two adorable lesbians.

Recommendation: It was interesting having Hide meet Kaneki only after Kaneki became a ghoul and more than a little unhinged. But thankfully Kaneki develops a soft spot, even if he a tremendous creeper about it.

Recommendation: The irony of Hide being more okay with Kaneki being a ghoul than with him having a crush on him is oh so painful. But this whole thing reminded me of a post that had the summary of a hypothetical story about a roommate who thought he was being homophobic about a gay roommate only to realize that they’re actually interested in them.

All of this has little to do with the series which is more along the lines if Kaneki thinks Hide smells good in a pervy way.
